Anointing of Sick

“Is anyone among you sick? He should summon the presbyters of the church, …” (Jm 5:14)
Anointing of the Sick
We read in the Bible:  "Are any among you sick? Let them call for the elders of the Church to pray over them, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will save the sick ones, and the Lord will raise them up; and if they have committed any sins, they will be forgiven." (James 5:14-15)

In this Sacrament Jesus brings healing of the soul and body to those who are ill. In the anointing of the sick Jesus says, “I know what suffering and pain is. I am with You. Let me help you to carry your cross."
