Confirmation

"Then they laid hands on them and they received the holy Spirit." (Acts 8:17)
Confirmation
In Confirmation, upon the request of Jesus, God the Father sends to us the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit seals the process of initiation in us. From the moment of Confirmation, the Holy Trinity is in us in the fullest way. Confirmation takes our relationship with the Holy Trinity to a higher level, and makes our friendship with God more personal. Technically speaking, Confirmation is the beginning of living life and practicing faith as a Catholic.

Ordinarily Confirmation is celebrated together with First Communion at the same celebration of the Mass. Children engaged in Religious Education for two (2) years may receive Confirmation.
